ELIGIBILITY - Please read the following carefully.

DO I QUALIFY FOR AN AUTOMATIC UPGRADE?
 
POLICY IN FORCE REQUIREMENT
 
  • Your EIPP policy must have been in force for at least one (1) full year before you can take advantage of an upgrade offer.
     
  • If your EIPP policy was first issued on or after September 1, 2007, you will not be eligible for an automatic policy upgrade until the 2008-2009 school year.

ACTIVE-AT-WORK REQUIREMENT
 

  • If you are on a paid or unpaid leave of any type at the time of enrollment, you are not eligible for an automatic upgrade. 
     

  • If you have planned for a paid or unpaid leave that will begin September 1st, 2008, you are not eligible for an automatic upgrade. 
     

  • If you expect to, but do not, return to work in September 2008, and have enrolled for an automatic policy upgrade, any upgrade selected will be reversed.
