Without a legal will and power of attorney, your death or incapacity may result in the government appointing a legal representative to make decisions on your behalf. As a way of encouraging our members to protect the financial well being of their loved ones, Teachers Life is pleased to offer a will and power of attorney rebate to members who have these documents drafted for the first time in the current calendar year. We also encourage good physical and mental health through our CPR and health club membership rebates.

Will Rebate Program
Without a legal will, upon your death, the distribution of your assets will be determined by a court appointed trustee who will also determine who the guardian of any under-aged children will be. If you haven't drafted your will as yet, take advantage of our $50 rebate program and do it now.

Power of Attorney Rebate Program
A Power of Attorney authorizes a person you have appointed to make personal and/or financial decisions on your behalf should you become incapacitated due to illness, accident or age. Without a Power of Attorney, your loved ones will not be able to make any decisions about your medical care or finances in the event that you are unable to make such decisions yourself. If you haven't drafted your Power of Attorney, have your lawyer draft one to be eligible for a $25 or $50 rebate, available to both members and their spouses.

CPR Certification Rebate Program*
Members need only certify or re-certify for CPR training and submit a copy of an invoice or certificate for a training course. Members will be rewarded with one rebate of $50 per year.

Health Club Rebate Program*
As a member simply provide a copy of an invoice or membership card in the purchase of a one-year membership in a health club, exercise program, YMCA/YWCA, racquetball or golf club. Members will be rewarded with one rebate $50 per year.
