"I want to thank Fraternal for their assistance. It has enabled me to have the money for my electric wheelchair and my bath lift which really makes living independently possible without worrying about where the money is to come from."

CAREpath Cancer Assistance Program

Teachers Life is pleased to provide CAREpath to members who hold a District LTD policy.  CAREpath is a Canadian-owned and operated health care company that specializes in cancer-related service programs for Canadians and their families.  CAREpath is now a valuable part of your Teachers Life LTD Coverage and available to you, your spouse and dependant children at no cost to you.

Do you know someone with cancer?

Teachers Life understands that a cancer diagnosis means uncertainty, questions, anxiety and fear.  If you, your spouse or dependant children are diagnosed with cancer, the CAREpath assistance program provides your own personal Oncology Case Manager to guide you through every step of your cancer experience, from diagnosis through treatment and into survivorship.

The CAREpath Navigation System, Survivor Support Program and Cancer Information Line are all part of your Teachers Life disability coverage.  This benefit comes at no additional cost to our District LTD members.  If you, your spouse or dependant children suspect having cancer, are living with cancer, or had cancer in the past, CAREpath can help.  You also have cancer-related information for an extended family member or friend through the CAREpath Cancer Information Line.
