We are very proud to offer our members opportunities for children and grandchildren, as well as rewards for new teachers entering the field.

J. F. Allen University Scholarship Award
As one of our most popular benefits, every year Teachers Life offers two university scholarships (one each to a male and female) to children or grandchildren of our members. The award pays $3,000 for up to four years or upon completion of the recipient's first degree, whichever comes first.

If you will be graduating from high school in 2011, your deadline for application is March 31st, 2012.

Teachers Life Bursary
Teachers Life Bursary is a fairly new initiative that awards, one male and one female, winner with $1,000 bursary upon graduating from high school and providing confirmation of post secondary-school program registration. Children or grandchildren of an active member can apply. Financial need is not a factor in the selection of a bursary winner.

If you will be graduating from high school in 2011, your deadline application is March 31st, 2012.

Hall & Hall Education Award
We've created a scholarship award for students who plan to attend Teacher's College. The award is worth $2,000 and is available to the children, grandchildren or spouse/partner of an active member. Two awards are granted annually, one to a student entering his/her final year of concurrent education, the other award to a student entering Teachers College.

To apply for the 2011-2012 school year, you must be enrolled at that time as a full-time post-secondary student at an institution recognized by the Association of Universities and Colleges Canada.  Deadline for this application is May 31st, 2012.
